Ethical Dilemma If the accusations against Noca-Cola (N-C) were true and founded then the ethical dilemma of deception and contributing to an epidemic would exist. The information provided about the study doesnt clearly identify that N-C is not decreasing water available to people in need. Based on the results from the thorough investigation identifying that â€Å"Noca-Cola uses a very small supply of water in the formula for the soft drinks – and that it is a statistically insignificant amount relative to the water shortages in the country† the ethical dilemma can be possibly removed for me. However, I would need to gather more information on the details of the investigation to determine if there were a ethical challenge in taking this†¦show more content†¦Plan Initially, my focus would be on learning as much as possible about the Indian culture in which the N-C plant is located. I would spend at a minimum a week in the local community to observe and lear n as much as possible. A day or two would be spent at the plant observing and talking with various employees. An employee of the plant would be my guide to show me the community and assist with any communication barriers that may exist. I would ask the guide to assist in finding individuals that I could gather information from the provide insight from the members of the local community. My communication would be open and honest with the plant employees and community members. I would make it clear that it was my responsibly to work with all involved parties to find a resolution to the concerns regarding N-C exhausting needed resources. A meeting would be requested with the local government representatives, in which their concerns would be heard and learned. Views of plant workers, local community members and government representatives regarding the accusations and investigation results would be complied, compared and contrasted. This information would be taken this into consi deration when taking the next step of my plan.
